Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. As an ICU Nurse, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients in our intensive care unit. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in monitoring and managing patients with complex medical conditions. Duties:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, lab results, and other diagnostic data
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Document patient information accurately and timely using electronic medical record systems (Cerner, Athenahealth)
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of [STATE]
- Minimum of [X] years of experience working in an ICU setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
